A study by the Archives of Internal Medicine observed the efforts of a group of female smokers in a smoking cessation program. The group required to exercise regularly was twice as more likely than the non-exercise group to drop the habit for as long as a year.

Better Sex Life

Finally, exercise has been linked to a better sex life. After all, staying fit maintains one's endurance and energy levels. A Harvard study has shown that physically active men have a 30% lesser risk of erectile dysfunction than those without regular exercise.

Those with a regular exercise regime say that they feel better in general about themselves, feel more sexually desirable, and experience a greater level of sexual satisfaction.
