After six diet..

hi guys, i just want to share my expirience under the "after six o'clock diet". this program was used by christine jacob when she was hosting a noontime show before (as i remember long time ago).
I started 2 weeks ago by eating everything in moderation. at breakfast pandesal (2 pcs) with butter, if wheat bread (at least 2 slices) is available much better and a glass of green tea or a glass of low fat milk. no need for am and pm snacks, if hunger stikes my stomach i grab a green tea or water, lots of lots of water. during lunch i do eat rice but 1 cup is my biggest serving. then ulam of my choice chicken, fish, meat or vegetables. my first choice is vegetables, if no vegies, fish is the second choice. if the only ulam is chicken and meat, that would be fine but i always removed the skin of the chicken and the fats from the pork/meat. the diet is to stop the food intake by 6 pm, so my dinner will be 5pm, it still ok to eat rice but for me i changed my dinner to a lighter meal, instead of rice and ulam i eat wheat bread 2 to 3 slices, and of course the green tea and water water water.
if u will ask me if i starve at night, honestly yes but i only take a glass of low fat milk, green tea or water. Guess what, in 2 weeks, i lose 4.5kg! im really happy with the result, and it inspired me to continue the program.
i do some exercises, walking, jogging and gym, but in a few days i got bored and nakakatamad tlaga ung feeling. i decided to swim 20 laps by 50 meters size of a pool. swimming is one of the sports that i love so i do it everyday and i also joined my officemates who plays badminton every other day during lunch break, im not good at this sports but this really sweat me a lot, as in napipiga ko ung shirt ko after the game. hehehe..
i think the only key to a diet is that ur enjoying your exercises and be satisfied with every food you put inside your mouth. And do not over eat!

I tried the after 6 diet also when I was in college. I did lose the weight. But, I didn't have the energy I needed when I had to study. So, I decided to have a new approach to my eating habits:) |

I've also tried the after 6 diet before but I guess it's not for me.I tend to go out at nyt and I need the energy to do so.,so I shifted to another one., |

ive tried this program a long time ago yes it did work but the problem was how long it will take you to continue the routine.. especially during holidays where all the meats and sweets are easy to reach.. thanks |

i used to do this program before but now i lost my interest...until i saw your post...thank you for lifting me up...your story boost my interest to went back to my old program...thanks a lot... |

Does lipton green tea help to lose weight? i take many weight lose pills already but weight rebound is always a problem. This day my bf told me juts to drink green tea instead of those pills. I dont even have time to exercise coz of work. I started cutting my rice intake just a week ago. Does this lipton green tea really help? thanks a lot |

jilsandie,, thanks for the after six diet info.. i want to try this one but the problem is ... di ako nakakatulog sa gabi.. anyway inom na lang ng water or milk puede? just to be sexy and healthy...hahaha...at my age i'm 64..but anyway just to stay healthy...ok for me.... thank u so much.. |

it is really inspiring but what about my time? since my shift starts at 9:45 pm MLA time til 7:15am MLA time.. how can I have my after 6o'clock meal with that?
